Kitchen limestone floorHi Bruce,

“We are absolutely delighted with the floor. It has made such a difference to the appearance of the kitchen.”

(The limestone floor in the kitchen had seen several years of the usual domestic use from family and dogs.) Regular cleaning was becoming less effective. The original seal was no longer giving the repellency that it once did. It was decided that the limestone would not only require deep cleaning but also some light resurfacing of the tiles to improve their natural resilience. With limestone in a kitchen setting, we often use a two-step sealing process to provide the most protection possible for the natural stone. This also helps to reduce the porosity of the stone surface, making ongoing maintenance much more effective
